Details
Below is a
step-by-step
breakdown of our jet
ski and boat rental process:
-
View our calendars
to see if your
desired day/time is
available.
-
Fill
out our
jet ski reservation request
form or
boat reservation
request form, or call
704-746-3195 to make
a reservation.
-
Lake
Norman Jet Ski
Rentals will confirm
that the dates/times
you have requested
are available.
-
If
all looks ok, you
provide a valid
credit card to
hold your
reservation. Your
reservation is not
official until you
do this. We will not
hold a reservation
without a credit
card.
-
We
will send you an
email with all your
rental details
including
directions, the
Rental Agreement and
Rental Release for
your review, a link to our
Safety Orientation
Video, and other
pertinent details.
-
One or two days before
your rental,
we will charge your
card $500 (damage
deposit plus rental
rate). As long as
you return the
equipment in good
working order, your
damage deposit will
be returned back to
your card.

The
day of your
appointment, you
meet us at our
Launch Dock
location 15 minutes
prior to your
scheduled time with
the signed Rental
Agreement and Rental
Release and renter's
driver's license
(make sure all
drivers have signed
and provided
driver's license
info - jet ski drivers must
be 18, boat drivers
must be 21)

We
walk you through the
Safety Checklist and
answer any questions
you may have.

We
provide you with
life jackets and the
key to your jet ski
or boat.

You
return the jet ski
or boat
at the scheduled
time with a full
tank of gas (gas
dock is 5 minutes
from our dock). We
recommend that you
get to the gas dock
a half hour before
your rental period
ends.

If
your rental ends
after the gas docks
close, we will fill
the tank up first
thing in the morning
and charge the gas
amount to your
credit card.

**Cancellation
Policy -
In
the case of a
thunderstorm, you
are allowed to
cancel your
reservation without
penalty. Otherwise,
you MUST give at
least 48 hours
notice of a
cancellation. If
notice comes in less
than 48 hours before
the start of your
rental, we reserve
the right to charge
you the full rental
rate. Our rentals
are in high demand,
and we often have to
turn people away -
so please do your
best to honor your
appointment.
